Luna looked around the school with a noticeable frown. She wasn't cold, standing outside in a short-sleeved shirt and jeans; the blonde barely ever got cold. And even less so in the nighttime, with her coat of thick gold fur...Luna wished she could live in the night forever, then shook her head at her folly. There were still a few things binding her to the human world. The freshman sighed and trod lightly into the school.

Lexi walked in behind Luna, her simple brown eyes tracing the pattern of the floor. She glanced up at Luna, who seemed to be lost in thought. The bell rang, and Lexi made her way to class. She opened the door and took a seat in the back of the class, pulling out her binder and a pencil.

Luna glanced at Lexi with disdain. She'd seen her in the forest as a werewolf, and even as a human, she knew the scent of the other werewolves. Luna looked at her with disdain; Lexi, as a shy young girl, cared nothing about belonging to a pack. Luna, on the other hand, was struggling with trying to find a decent beta for her own pack (she refused to let Soul have that honor; he'd lead them to ruin). Luna turned to her binder and began to sketch, etching the likeness of her nighttime self in her binder.
